Orangeburg Library will be closed Monday, May 28, in observance of Memorial Day.
Regular hours will resume Tuesday, May 29.

The Orangeburg Library hosts Colleen Briscoe and a 4-part series of Chair Yoga at 1:00 PM. Without leaving your chair, you will be able to strengthen muscles, improve balance and flexibility and learn to relax.

FREE APPRAISALS OF YOUR COINS & ATTIC TREASURES

Sunday, June 03 @ 2:00 PM 

Auctioneer Marc Stolfe, will look over your art prints, collectibles, jewelry and other treasures from your household, and give you a fair estimated monetary value. And, on the same day, Michael Lord will evaluate and appraise up to 3 United States coins. If you wish to have an item appraised, please call (359-2244) the library as a timed appointment will be given to each participant.

The Orangeburg Library displays the art of local artist, Thea Batsies at the Top-of-the-Stairs Gallery. Born in Greece, Thea allows her landscapes and still lifes to reflect her love of nature and her birthplace.


Tuesday, May 29
The Orangeburg Library’s Book & Bag Lunch Group meets at 12:00 noon to discuss “World’s End” by T.C. Boyle. All are welcome, and the library will be serving coffee and dessert.


Sunday, May 20
The Orangeburg Library hosts a Musical Tribute to Les Paul and Mary Ford at 2:00 PM. Famed guitar maker, Tom Doyle who spent 40 years working with Les Paul, and his vocally-gifted wife, Sandy Cory, will be performing the Les Paul standards of old. Sunday, June 3 from 1:30 - 3:00 PM
The Orangeburg Library urges you to avail your self of not one, but two FREE appraisers. On Sunday, from 1:30 to 3:00 PM, both gentlemen will be at the Orangeburg. Auctioneer, Marc Stolfe, will appraise your collectibles and coin expert, Michael Lord, will tell you the value of your U.S. coins. You must call the library at 35-2244, Ext. 10 for a timed appointment with either or both of these experts.

Fleet Week at Intrepid

Celebrate Fleet Week at Intrepid, and tour other Military ships as they visit New York Harbor. Visit displays from various partners on Intrepid’s Pier 86, enjoy special performances, watch the military battle it out in the famous Tug of War and much more! Don’t forget to help kick off our summer movie series on the Flight Deck. Join us for the annual Memorial Day ceremony at Intrepid with an unfurling of the 100-foot-long American Flag. Free Pass to Intrpid is avaiable at the Orangeburg Library.
