Volunteer Program

Need community service hours? There are many opportunities available at the library. Join the teen advisory board, become a homework help tutor, lead an afternoon storytime, assist at programs, prepare crafts and more. Stop by the library to fill out an application.

Critter Crew: Join us to learn and chat about different kinds of pets and other animals. Grades K-5.

First Art for Toddlers: Spirited, messy and fun-filled discovery for budding Picassos. Children 2-5 years.

Sewing Corner: Learn the basics down and create small projects. Grades 3-6.

Lego Club: Join us for some creative building. The Library will provide the Legos, while the kids provide the imagination. Grades K-5.

Pre-School Storytime: Thirty minutes of stories, songs and fingerplays for children ages 3 -5. Small craft to follow storytime. This storytime is offered in the morning and afternoon.

Music Together:  Innovative music and movement program. For children 5 and younger with adult caregiver. Register siblings separately. Preference is given to S. Orangeburg residents.

Songs, Stories and Silliness: Join us for songs, rhymes, felt board tales and a book or two. Age 3 & younger with adult caregiver.
